Endoscopic Brow Lift Surgery

Endoscopic brow lifts are performed at our on-site, state licensed ambulatory surgical center in The Villages. General anesthesia is administered during this procedure where Dr. Soares will carefully make a small, (concealed) incision in the hairline to gain access to areas under the forehead muscles and skin. A thin metal tube with a light and camera, (An Endoscope) is inserted through the small incisions. This allows Dr. Soares to visually inspect and internally perform the cosmetic adjustments that will greatly reduce and or eliminate wrinkles and lines in the forehead, and raise the brow to create a brighter, happier more positive appearance.

After surgery, you will be monitored until you have fully recovered from the affects of the anesthesia, and then Dr. Soares will approve your release to go home. You will want to make arrangements to be driven home by a friend or loved one.

Initially, your forehead will be tender and slightly bruised or swollen, but this will subside in a few days. Dr. Soares will monitor your recovery with a few follow-up visits to our offices, and will advise you on activities. Expect to take it easy for the first week. After approximately two weeks you should be able to return to normal activities and will experience the full benefits of your surgery within about six months.
